New Jersey Elks Scholarship Opportunities

​

  1. ï‚· Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Contest - any high school senior who is a citizen of the United States is eligible to apply. The application must be submitted to the Elks Lodge nearest the applicant’s home. for more Information go to www.elks.org.

  2. ï‚· Elks National Foundation Legacy Awards – Legacy Awards are $4000. Scholarships for the children and grandchildren (step child or step grandchild) of Elks members. Applications are available ONLINE ONLY. Submit online before January 29, each year. New Jersey families will be eligible for up to 10 awards. Information at www.elks.org.

  3. ï‚· Elks National Foundation Emergency Education Grants – These grants provide financial assistance to children of deceased or totally disabled Elks, who wish to obtain or further their college education. Information at www.elks.org.

  4. ï‚· New Jersey Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarships – These are awarded to the runner-ups in the Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Contest.

  5. ï‚· New Jersey Elks Special Children Committee Scholarship – The Special Children’s Committee awards two scholarships of up to $2,500 per year for four years. They are awarded to a graduating male high school senior and a graduating female high school senior from the State of New Jersey. Applications are sent to schools throughout New Jersey in early November and due back by mid April. www.njelks.org.

  6. ï‚· New Jersey Elks Family Scholarship – These scholarships are available to children and grandchildren (step children and step grandchildren) of New Jersey Elks. They are available to high school seniors as well as college freshman, sophomores, and juniors it runs from April 15th to June 30th each year.

  7. ï‚· New Jersey Elks Vocational Scholarship - The New Jersey State Elks Association is pleased to announce this new scholarship. It is available to graduating high school seniors who are United States citizens that will be enrolling in an accredited vocational school or program. There will 2 awards in each of our 12 districts throughout New Jersey. Applications are available at schools throughout New Jersey as well as online. Applications may be submitted from Feb. 1 to March 21, each year. Applications should be sent to your local Elks Lodge where you reside for submission.

  8. ï‚· Local Lodge Scholarships - Many of our local lodges award scholarships. These applications may be available at your local high school. For assistance in locating your local lodge use the following website www.elks.org/lodges/
